Seymour, Jane (c. 1509–1537)English noble, third wife of Henry VIII, whom she married 1536. She died soon after the birth of her son Edward VI. Daughter of John Seymour and sister of Edward, Duke of Somerset, she was a lady-in-waiting to Henry VIII's first two wives, Catherine of Aragón and Anne Boleyn.
