Shoreview

City in southeastern Minnesota, 10 km/6 mi north of St Paul; population (1990) 24,600. Primarily a residential community on several small lakes, it has become home to some light industry, mainly electronics and printing. Its lakefront beaches are popular with local residents in summer.
