Siboni, Erik (Anton Valdemar) (1828–1892)| Danish pianist, organist, and composer of Italian origin. He taught music at Copenhagen and was professor at the Royal Academy at Sorø 1864–83. |
| He studied at Copenhagen, where his teachers included J P E Hartmann, and with Ignaz Moscheles and Moritz Hauptmann at Leipzig. He fought on the Danish side in the war of Schleswig-Holstein in 1848. In 1851–53 he continued his studies with Simon Sechter in Vienna. After his return to Copenhagen he settled as a music teacher, among his pupils being Princess Alexandra. |
