Sigtenhorst Meyer, Bernhard van den (1888–1953)

Dutch musicologist and composer. He edited works by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck (1562–1621) and also wrote books on him. He studied with Zweers, D de Lange and others and later in Paris, afterwards travelling to Java and the Far East. He returned to Amsterdam, but moved to The Hague, where he lived for many years.
