Sillery

City in southern Québec, Canada, 6 km/4 mi southwest of central Québec City, on the St Lawrence River; population (1991) 12,500. It is a residential and commercial suburb, with a mix of office buildings, religious institutions, and housing.

In the 1630s it was the site of a Jesuit mission and in the 19th century it became an industrial city.
