Silver Lake

Residential section of Los Angeles, California, between Echo Park and Hollywood, 3 km/2 mi northwest of the centre. Developed around Silver Lake Reservoir, it has many early-20th-century houses that were once home to Hollywood figures, and a diverse population including working-class Hispanics, Asian immigrants, gays, and artists.
