Sleeping Beauty, The

Ballet by Tchaikovsky (choreography by Petipa), produced at the Mariinsky Theatre, St Petersburg, on 15 January 1890. A new version, with additional orchestration by Stravinsky and additions to the choreography by Bronislava Nizhinska, was produced at the Alhambra Theatre, London, on 2 November 1921.
