Social networking

System, sometimes called Web 2, that extends the use of the internet to two-way communications where ordinary citizens contribute to the internet through their own publishing. Early use of the internet was mainly for commerce, with one-way communications to ordinary users.

Social networking activity can be categorized into fields such as messaging, chat, blogging, wikis, and forums. Social networking spaces include Digg, MySpace, bebo, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and many others. Most companies providing services for social networking rely on advertising for revenue generation and the more visitors they have, the higher the rates they can charge advertisers.

Many issues have arisen with the phenomenal growth of social networking, with cyber-bullying and identity theft being examples.

In 2004, we released world's first intra-corporate social network services as a solution for the problems of information divide.
A social network service utilizes software in order to build online social networks for large groups or communities of people who share activities and interests but also those who are interested in exploring the activities and interests of others.
Most social network services are primarily web based and provide a collection of various ways for users to interact, such as messaging, email, chat rooms, blogging, discussion groups, and so on.
