Solar Max

Satellite launched by NASA in 1980 to study solar activity. It discovered that the Sun's luminosity increases slightly when sunspots are most numerous. It was repaired in orbit by astronauts from the space shuttle in 1984 and burned up in the Earth's atmosphere in 1989.
