Soltys, Adam (1890-1968)

Polish composer and conductor. He studied at the Lviv Conservatory, the Berlin Hochschule für Musik and Kunstakademie, and Berlin University. He was a professor at Lviv Conservatory from 1921, its director (1930-39), and conductor of the symphony orchestra.

two symphonies, symphonic poem Slowianie/The Slavs; chamber music; variations for piano; songs.
