Solway FirthInlet of the Irish Sea, formed by the estuaries of the rivers Eden and Esk, at the western end of the border between England and Scotland, separating Cumbria in England from Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. Solway Firth is in part the estuary of the River Esk, and in part an inlet of the Irish Sea.
