Somers

Town in southeastern New York State, 34 km/21 mi north of White Plains; population (1990) 16,200. It is becoming increasingly suburban. IBM and Pepsico have corporate office parks here.

The New Croton Reservoir lies to the south and east, and the Amawalk Reservoir is entirely within the town.
