South Jordan

City in north-central Utah, on the Jordan River, a residential suburb 23 km/14 mi southwest of Salt Lake City; population (1990) 12,200. The Jordan River (Mormon) Temple is in the city. Salt Lake County Equestrian Park features summer horse racing.
