| City in north-central Utah, at the foot of the Wasatch Range, 13 km/8 mi south of Provo; population (1990) 11,300. Surrounded by irrigated farms and ranches, the city produces flour and other agricultural items and canned goods, and manufactures clothing and explosives. |
