St Ann

City in east-central Missouri, 21 km/13 mi northwest of central St Louis; population (1990) 14,500. An industrial suburb, it is situated near the Lambert–St Louis International Airport.

industry as production at the St Ann Bauxite Company in Discovery Bay, St Ann, is to be increased by some 25 per cent, beginning within the next three months.
Noranda and Century had a 50/50 joint venture in St Ann and Gramercy, but Century Aluminum Company announced in a press release "that it has reached an agreement to transfer the company's 50 per cent ownership interests" to Noranda.
Friends of St Ann commissioned the sandstone and glass seats which were designed and built by artist Cate Watkinson.
