St Asaph

Small town in Denbighshire, northeast Wales, midway between Rhyl and Denbigh, situated on high ground between the Clwyd and the Elwy rivers; population (2001) 3,500. There is an old bridge across the River Elwy. St Asaph has a cathedral, most of which dates from the 15th century, although a few parts from the 13th century still remain.
