St Germans

Village in Cornwall, southwest England, between Plymouth and Liskeard; population (2001) 1,400. The seat of the bishop of the county until about 1050, St Germans has a Norman church and 17th-century almshouses.

St Germans is the country seat of the Eliot family, earls of St Germans.
