Millennium Stadium

Multi-purpose stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Opened in 1999, with the first retractable roof in the UK, the stadium is owned by the Welsh Rugby Union. It is home to the Welsh national Rugby Union and Football Association teams and serves as a venue for concerts and other sporting events.

With a capacity of 74,500 seats and a footprint of 40,000 sq m, the stadium was rebuilt on the site of the former Cardiff Arms Park to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Other events held at the stadium include motorsports, boxing, and concerts.
