Fortified Iron Age settlement 12 km/7.5 mi E of Malton, Yorkshire, England. The site, on top of a chalk hillock, contains two or more huts and a possible granary or watchtower, and is surrounded by an oval palisade (fence of stakes). It dates from the 6th to 5th centuries BC.
