Stark, Harold Raynsford (1880–1972)

Us naval officer; born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He was chief of naval operations 1939–42. He was censured in a naval investigation in 1945 for having failed to forward key intelligence to Admiral Husband Kimmel prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
