Stilwell, ‘Jack’ (1848–1903)

US scout and peace officer. He moved to New Mexico and was an army scout 1867–81. He served under Col. George Custer and other leaders in exceptionally dangerous ventures. He was a US deputy marshal and a police judge in Oklahoma.

He was born in Tennessee.
