Stone Guest, The

Opera by Aleksandr Dargomizhsky (libretto Pushkin's drama, set unaltered). The work was not performed in the composer's lifetime, but was first produced at St Petersburg, on 28 February 1872. In the story, Don Juan dallies with Laura and Donna Anna on the way to Hell.
