Stony Stratford

Stony Stratford

Market town in Buckinghamshire, southern England, on the River Ouse, 13 km/8 mi northeast of Buckingham; population (2001) 11,800. Stony Stratford has now been absorbed by Milton Keynes. It has a leather industry, and is the site of an Eleanor Cross (commemorating Eleanor of Castile).
