Stow-on-the-Wold

Market town in Gloucestershire, southwest England, 32 km/20 mi northeast of Cheltenham, in the Cotswold Hills; population (2001) 2,100. It is the highest town in the Cotswolds and relies on tourism, but was once a centre for the wool trade. It has a partly Norman church and a 14th-century market cross.

Stow-on-the-Wold is on the Fosse Way. The Cotswold Farm Park is about 10 km/6 mi west of the town.

RETRAINING of Racehorses is holding a clinic on 'Where to start and how to proceed' on Saturday, at the Unicorn Trust Equestrian Centre, Netherswell, Stow-on-the-Wold.
An incredible five weeks were spent constructing the tent, Parisian courtyard and 30ft windmill in the grounds of the Dawson mansion in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire.
All five people in the Passat are thought to be from Stow-on-the-Wold.
