Stravinsky, Soulima (1910–1994)

Russian pianist and composer, son of Igor Stravinsky. He studied at the Paris Conservatory with Boulanger and Cortot, before making his debut at Barcelona in 1933, in his father's Capriccio; he premiered the Concerto for two solo pianos in Paris (1935). He remained in France when his father emigrated to the USA, but continued to perform his music and was also admired in Debussy's Préludes. His compositions include three string quartets and a piano trio.
