Austrian composer, the great-grandson of Johann and Maria Streicher. He studied in Vienna, Dresden, and Bayreuth.

Mignons Exequien for chorus, children's chorus, and orchestra (after Goethe's Wilhelm Meister, 1907); Die Schlacht bei Murten for chorus and orchestra; Kleiner Vogel Kolibri for chamber orchestra; Um Inez weinten for soprano and orchestra.

Chamber

Die Monologe des Faust (after Goethe) for string sextet (1912); many songs, including 36 settings from Des Knaben Wunderhorn.
