Survival International

Organization formed in 1969 to support tribal peoples and their right to decide their own future, and to help them protect their lands, environment, and way of life. It operates in more than 60 countries worldwide. Its headquarters are in London, England.

Projects have included lobbying against rainforest logging, huge dams, and industrial activity that displaces tribal people, and for the return of confiscated lands; emergency medical aid; and protests against killing and intimidation of tribal people.
