Sutton Bridge

River port in Lincolnshire, England, on the River Nene near the Wash, 11 km/7 mi north of Wisbech; population (2001) 3,950. It is in a potato-growing district, and trades in corn and timber. Ruins of the old dock are still visible.

Nearby is the village of Long Sutton; the church there has a 13th-century tower with an early lead spire.
