Suzzallo, (Anthony) Henry (1875–1933)

US educator. As president of the University of Washington: Seattle 1915–26, he developed it into a major university designed to meet the state's needs. During his presidency 1930–33, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching issued major reports on higher education in California and federal involvement in education.

He was born in San Jose, California.
