Synthi 100

    0.01 sec.

Synthi 100

Computer-controlled analogue synthesizer developed 1972–75 by Peter Zinovieff (1934– ) from his successful EMS briefcase synthesizer. It incorporates a sequencer, which allows the continuous recycling of a series of values applicable to pitch, dynamics, or structural parameters.

Compositions using the Synthi 100 include Henze's Tristan (1973) for piano, orchestra, and tape music and Stockhausen's Sirius (1975–77) for soloists and tape music.
