Tazara Railway

The Tanzania–Zambia Railway Authority railway line, opened in 1975 for the export of copper from Zambia. It links Dar es Salaam on the Tanzanian coast to Lusaka in Zambia, via the town of Kapiri Mposhi in the Zambian copperbelt. From Lusaka there are connections to Livingstone in southern Zambia and Bulawayo in Zimbabwe.
