TCO

An association of 18 trade unions, whose activities include the specification and management of an international quality and environmental labelling scheme for the computer industry. Their scheme covers workstation efficiency, monitors, printers, and most recently, keyboards. The scheme has been most widely used by monitor manufacturers, who display TCO92 or TCO95 labels to show their conformity with electromagnetic emissions standards.
