Bankhead, Tallulah (1903–1968)

US actor. She was renowned for her wit and flamboyant lifestyle. Her stage appearances include Dark Victory (1934), Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes (1939), and Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth (1942). Her films include Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat (1943).
