Tana

River in Finnmark county, north Norway; length 400 km/249 mi. It is formed by the junction of the rivers Anar and Karas, and flows northeast to enter the Arctic Ocean by Tana Fjord. For most of its length, Tana forms the Finnish-Norwegian border. Salmon are caught here.

Tana

River in Kenya; length 800 km/497 mi. It rises near Mount Kenya, flows through an arid area, and enters the Indian Ocean at Kipini, 80 km/50 mi north of Malindi.
