Tati

District in Botswana; area 5,180 sq km/2,000 sq mi. The district was originally known as the Tati Concession, and is a gold-mining region. Gold-mining operations, including the Monarch mine, are controlled by the Australian-based company Gallery Resources, who continue to prospect in the area around Francistown.
