Teifi

River in Wales, rising at 455 m/1,493 ft in Llyn Teifi in Ceredigion (Cardiganshire); length 118 km/73 mi; catchment area 1,007 sq km/389 sq mi. It flows southwest through Lampeter and Llanybydder and then west to enter Cardigan Bay in a wide estuary. At Cenarth, the river is confined by a rocky outcrop leading to picturesque rapids and falls.
