Terradellas, Domingo Miguel Bernabe (1713–1751)

Spanish composer. He produced his first opera in 1739 in Rome, where he was maestro di cappella at the Spanish church 1743–45. He visited London 1746–47, producing three operas there and in Paris, then returned to Rome.

He studied 1732–38 with Francesco Durante at the Conservatorio dei Poveri di Gesù at Naples, where he composed two oratorios.

Astarto (1739), Gli intrighi delle cantarine, Cerere, Merope (1743), Artaserse, Semiramide riconosciuta, Mitridate (1746), Bellerofonte (1747), Imeneo in Atene, Didone, Sesostri, rè d'Egitto.

oratorios Giuseppe riconosciuto (1736) and Ermenegildo martire.
