Teviot

River in Scottish Borders unitary authority, Scotland, rising on the southwest edge of the region near White Hope Edge (height 475 m/1,558 ft), Eskdale, and flowing 60 km/38 mi northeast through the valley of Teviotdale, before joining the River Tweed at Kelso. Its waters contain salmon and trout.
