| The band comprises Sharleen Spiteri (1967- , vocals and guitar), Johnny McElhone (1963- , bass) who formed the band, Eddie Campbell (1965- , keyboards), and Ally McErlaine (1968- , guitar). Their debut album was Southside (1991), which was followed in 1993 by Rick's Road. After the release of White on Blonde Spiteri emerged as the primary writer and spokesperson for the band. |
