Teziutlán

Town in the state of Puebla, 60 km/37 mi northwest of Jalapa, in southern Mexico; population (1995) 71,200. The town lies at an altitude of 1,980 m/6,496 ft. Industries include the processing and packing of local agricultural produce, such as maize, wheat, chilli, fruit, and vegetables, and copper mining.
