Rathfarnham

Suburb of Dublin, Republic of Ireland, 6 km/4 mi south of Dublin. It is the gateway to the Dublin Mountains. Rathfarnham Castle dates from the 16th century and is the property of the state.

Nearby is the Hermitage, where the nationalist Patrick Pearse ran St Enda's College; it is now a Pearse museum.
