Concordia| In Roman mythology, the goddess of civic harmony. She is represented as a matron, holding in her left hand the cornucopia or sceptre, and in her right an olive branch or patera. |
Concordia| City and river port of Entre Ríos province, Argentina, situated on the right bank of the River Uruguay opposite Salto in Uruguay; population (2001) 138,100. The chief industries are meat packing and processing, along with other by-products of the livestock industry. Major exports are meat, hides, maize, flax, and fruit. |
