Simple Minds

Scottish rock band formed in 1977 and fronted by Jim Kerr (1959– ), whose songs include ‘Don't You (Forget About Me)’ (which featured in the 1985 film The Breakfast Club). Their album hits include Sparkle In The Rain (1984) and Street Fighting Years (1989).

It's not that times are getting tough for the Simple Minds frontman, rather that he has been working with up-and-coming writers on new tracks.
Tickets for the Simple Minds gig at the LG Arena are available now, priced pounds 36.
The documentary, also called Don't You Forget About Me, is named after the Simple Minds song that features in Hughes's seminal 1985 Brat Pack film The Breakfast Club.
