French composer. He studied at the Paris Conservatory, then became a private teacher of music.

Martin et Frontin (1877), Le Caprice de la reine (1892); operettas Vieil Air, jeune chanson (1894), Le Château de Koenigsberg (1896), Le Chaperon rouge (1900); ballets, including Endymion et Phœbé, La Bulle d'amour (1898), La Folie parisienne (1900); incidental music to plays, including Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and mystery l'Enfant Jésus.

Hymne à la nuit for chorus; Simple Aveu for piano with many arrangements.
