Tianjin, Treaty of
| Agreement (1858) between China and Western powers, signed at the end of the Second Opium (Arrow) War. It was one of the unequal treaties forced on China by the West. A further ten treaty ports, mainly along the Chang Jiang, were opened to Britain, France, Russia, and the USA. |
