Tilburg

Town in the province of North Brabant, the Netherlands, 24 km/15 mi southwest of 's Hertogenbosch; population (2006 est) 200,300. Tilburg is an industrial centre, manufacturing cloth, woollens and soap.

There is a Catholic economic university, founded in 1927.
