Tisserand, François Felix (1845–1896)

French astronomer. He was director of the observatories of Toulouse 1873 and Paris 1892, and his work included many branches of celestial mechanics, especially the orbits of comets. He founded the Bulletin astronomique 1884, and published Traité de mécanique céleste 1889–96.
