Tonle Sap (or Tônlé Sab)

Lake on a tributary of the Mekong River, western Cambodia; area ranging from 2,600 sq km/1,000 sq mi to 6,500 sq km/2,500 sq mi at the height of the monsoon. During the June–Nov wet season it acts as a natural flood reservoir.
