Unity

Small town in Waldo County, south-central Maine; population (1990) 1,800. It is situated on Unity Pond, 26 km/16 mi northeast of Waterville. Industries include agriculture, lumbering, food processing, and the manufacture of wood products. The town is home to Unity College (1965).
