Tremblant, Mont

    0.01 sec.

Tremblant, Mont

One of the highest peaks (968 m/3,175 ft) of the Laurentians in southern Québec, Canada, 115 km/70 mi northwest of Montréal. Its 650-m/2,135-ft vertical drop lures skiers; the mountain is also the focal point of a provincial park.

The resort of Mont-Tremblant (population (1991) 700) and a lake of the same name are nearby. Abnaki legend claims that the mountain will tremble when crossed by people.
